From the very first Polecat Classic in 2018, we’ve made sure every player gets a little something to commemorate the day. With a small budget that first year, the goody bags included custom sunglasses and rubber wristbands—simple but meaningful keepsakes. As the tournament grew, so did the quality of the giveaways. Hats, t-shirts, embroidered golf towels, and even custom discs have all made their way into the mix. One year, we even created our own trading cards.
Every year brings something different, making the goody bags a fun surprise for players. Whether it’s a practical piece of gear or a unique collectible, one thing’s for sure—it’s always a memorable part of the Polecat Classic experience.
Sunglasses with "2018 Polecat Classic" on the side, along with a Polecat logo. Austin Good shows off his broken hand and the wristband that was given away. The wristbands were red, fading into yellow, with text that said "2018 Polecat Classic." They were also meant to match the colors of the trophies given out! These wristbands became a staple of the goody bags for years to come. Both the sunglasses and wristband came in a clear Ziploc bag.
We also had a Snapchat filter this year, which can be seen in one of the photos above.
In 2019, we handed out hats and wristbands. The wristbands kept the same red and yellow colors, but instead of fading into one another, they featured a more tie-dye aesthetic. The hats given away were white with black embroidery and featured the signature Polecat Classic logo. Both the wristbands and hats were distributed in sealed plastic bags.
Also pictured is the Snapchat filter used this year, featuring the phrase 'You hate to see it,' one of the popular sayings at the tournament.
The 2020 goody bags included a wristband, a set of trading cards, and a mask. The wristband was black, fading into white, with the text '2020 Polecat Classic.' Since 2020 was the year of COVID-19, masks were a fitting addition to the goody bags.
Each player received one pack of cards containing a card for every participant in the tournament that year. While a full set was guaranteed, players also had a chance to pull a holographic, autographed Cory Moffatt champion card—only six exist. Additionally, there were Josh Hinkle and Ross Reeves error cards, though it is unknown if they were included in the 20-card packs. These two error cards were later made available at Grampa's Card Shop.
In the goody bags (top photo), the mask was wrapped around the pack of cards, while the wristband was wrapped around the entire package.

The 2021 goody bags included a wristband (red, white, and blue) and a custom embroidered golf towel. The wristband matched the trophies handed out that year.
The original plan was to feature the new Polecat logo on hats, but due to complications, the order was canceled two weeks before the tournament. As a last-minute replacement, the golf towels were introduced and turned out well. Both the wristband and towel were distributed in a sealed plastic bag.
The 2022 goody bags varied depending on the tier.
Tier 1 ($40) included two wristbands, a mini Polecat disc, and one putter of the player's choice.
Tier 2 ($100) included everything from Tier 1, plus an additional putter, a custom Polecat driver disc, County Club status (which granted access to exclusive tournaments and a shot at winning the championship belt), and a County Club hat.
Tier 3 ($1,000) included everything from Tiers 1 and 2, plus a limo ride for the entire team to the Polecat.
The wristbands came in a gold pouch and were gold and black to match the trophies. This was the first time each player received two wristbands.
All goody bag items were displayed on a table, allowing players to pick out their discs on a first-come, first-served basis. The putters came in reddish-pink, gray, and light blue, with several foil options, including gold, black, rainbow, red/white/blue, oil slick, and silver. The driver discs were pink and featured the same foiling options.
Two misprint discs, which were double-stamped, were kept for the founders of the Polecat. The logo design on the discs was created by Zack Butler, and Dynamic Discs helped fulfill the order for all the custom discs.
The hats were all black and featured the lumberjack Polecat logo embroidered on them.
The 2023 goody bags included a wristband (red, gold, and white) and a custom embroidered hat. The wristband matched the trophies handed out that year, both of which were designed to resemble the wristbands and trophies from the first Polecat Classic in 2018.
Some designs featured a 90s theme, including the hat design, which was a parody of the Surge logo. Erik (photo above) is shown wearing the 2023 wristband with his hat attached to his belt loop.
The 2024 goody bags included a blue and white tie-dye wristband, designed to match the blue lightning theme of the trophies. Each goody bag also contained an additional randomly colored wristband.
A Polecat Blimp keychain was included as well. These were 3D-printed and color-coded, with the back of each keychain indicating how many Polecats that particular person had attended. For example, the all-blue blimp with yellow writing was given to those who had attended all seven Polecat tournaments.
Lastly, each goody bag included a custom Polecat Classic T-shirt, exclusively available at the event. This particular design was not available in the team shop. The logo on the shirt was intended to have a professional yet clean look—something suitable for the gym or everyday wear.
All goody bags were sealed in plastic bags.
